If you’re any bit like me, every second of your life is filled with music because music is amazing. The other day was no exception. Sitting in a restaurant full of people getting work done on my computer, my productivity went up in smoke when one of my favorite songs called “Cake By The Ocean” by DNCE came on (an amazing Cha Cha by the way).
Here I am by myself, bobbing my head and moving my feet to the music. Did people stare and snicker? Sure, but I didn’t care, because I was envisioning myself tearing up the dance floor in an epic routine.
Now, there are plenty of you who might be terrified doing what I did, so here are four reasons to show the world how awesome you are by dancing like no one is watching.
Reasons To Dance
- It’s scientifically proven that dancing releases endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. Dancing = Happiness. It’s science
- It’ll help you be you. Dancing comes from within you, your heart, your soul – it is an expression of who you are. So dance your heart out and show the world who you are. You’ll be glad you did!
- You might meet someone else who dances randomly. The next time we see each other, ask me about the night at Parlor and the girl who got away.
- Practice makes perfect! Use every opportunity to practice what you’ve learned with Arthur Murray Dance Schools. You may not have time to be at the studio all day every day, but every second of your day is an opportunity to practice your moves.
